High winds and fire danger pick up Sunday in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Very strong west winds will develop over the Sangre De Cristo Mountains and adjacent high slopes to the east Saturday night through Sunday night, with gusts around 65 mph expected.
Strong winds will descend to lower elevations on Sunday with gusts from 40-55 mph.
