ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Hot off the heels of a Vincent Van Gogh immersive experience, the “Frida Kahlo: The Life of an Icon” immersive biography is coming Sept. 29 to Albuquerque’s Sawmill District.
The exhibit will explore Kahlo’s biography through collections of historical photographs, original films, artistic installations, collector’s items and newly-created music to tell the story of the artist. Seven transformational spaces, 360-degree projects and virtual reality elements will be a part of the exhibit.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday at 8 a.m. for opening day. Each visit is good for 90 minutes on the day you book. More information is on the Frida Kahlo ABQ website.
