Joe’s Pasta House to open second location in Albuquerque
RIO RANCHO, N.M. – From graduations to banquets or even just a comfort meal on your lunch break, Joe’s Pasta House off Southern has been keeping Rio Rancho fed since 1999.
It isn’t just award-winning lasagna or their special twist on chicken alfredo that keeps business strong.
“This is the biggest staple in Rio Rancho for an Italian restaurant, family owned, it is just a fantastic thing what we do for the community whether it’s for the police officers, fire department, school systems,” said Andrea Hall, general manager of Joe’s Pasta House.
With a strong foundation in the City of Vision, Joe’s is expanding to Holly Plaza in Albuquerque’s Northeast Heights.
The food will stay familiar, but Joe’s will add a full bar and cocktails.
“It is really important to us preserving that legacy of just pasta house, we are proud of the fact that our ingredients haven’t changed, our vendors haven’t changed, our menu hasn’t changed,” said Nadeem Shariff, owner of Joe’s Pasta House.
Customers say their spring opening can’t come soon enough.
“I think it’s great, I think that for us personally we go out to lunch almost everyday because we live in Los Lunas and work down here, and we hit probably two or three different Italian restaurants a week. I probably shouldn’t admit that, but we do and this is one of our favorites,” said Shelly Harwood, a longtime Joe’s customer.
