ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It’s a cool start to a hot day in our area as temperatures in the 40s-70s will turn into temperatures in the 80s-100s.
If you’ve lived in New Mexico and southern Colorado long enough, you may know we’re getting into the time of the year when you drive to work with the heat on – and drive back with the A/C on.
Many places will certainly need the A/C, too. The Albuquerque metro will be well into the 90s. Meanwhile, Roswell continues its hot streak in the triple-digits.
Southern Colorado and the Four Corners region, plus other mountainous areas, will be cooler.
Meteorologist Kira Miner is still tracking a big cooldown for all of us next week, in the video above.
