ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Temperatures in the triple digits will return in some places while scattered storms will keep other places cooler Wednesday in New Mexico.

The triple-digit readings will return, essentially where you expect them: Roswell, Carlsbad, Hobbs.

The scattered storms will keep places elsewhere in New Mexico out of the triple digits. Highs in the 80s and 90s mostly.
