Kohl’s at Coronado Center to close Saturday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Nearly everything in the Kohl’s at Coronado Center is being marked down before they close their doors for good this Saturday, Sept. 16.

A spokesperson from Kohl’s corporate office confirmed in an email that they will be closing that location, but did not give a specific reason. Employees told KOB 4 it’s because they are losing too much inventory to theft.

The Kohl’s spokesperson also said that no one will be losing their jobs. Instead, they will be transferring employees to other stores in the Albuquerque metro.

KOB 4 reached out to Coronado Center management to ask about the closure, but we did not receive a response.
