ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — An Albuquerque little league softball team earned a state championship and now is working hard to raise funds that will get them to the southwest region championship in Waco, Texas.
Paradise Hills Little League softball is set to play at 10 a.m. CT, this Sunday, July 24, in the first game of the Little League Softball Southwest Region Tournament. Paradise Hills will face off against an east Texas team TBA in a game airing on ESPN+.
If they win Sunday and win their next three games, set for July 25-27, they would advance to the championship game. A win in the championship game would move them onto the Little League Softball World Series next month.
Before they get there, they are raising funds to help their efforts. They have sold concessions at movie nights and partnered with area businesses to raise funds – and you can now support them by donating to their GoFundMe fundraiser.
More information on the Paradise Hills Little League program is available on their website.
