NMDOT to remove northbound I-25 MLK exit
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Department of Transportation is beginning to modify the shoulder of northbound I-25 between Central and Martin Luther King Boulevard to remove the northbound MLK off-ramp.
The work will begin Monday at 8 p.m.
State officials said northbound traffic on I-25 will be reduced to two lanes until Aug. 29 at 5 a.m. Northbound traffic will access MLK by exiting at the Lead/Coal off-ramp and heading north on Oak Street to MLK. According to NMDOT, that will be the permanent configuration.
State officials said MLK access for southbound traffic on I-25 will not be affected.
