Police: 1 dead in northwest Albuquerque shooting
UPDATE: Police charged 22-year-old Mykyle Lewis-Robinson with an open count of murder for the fatal shooting of his girlfriend. Police say the two got into a fight. Lewis-Robinson told police he only meant to scare his girlfriend by pointing his gun at her.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One person is dead after a shooting overnight in the area of 12th Street and Griegos Road in northwest Albuquerque.
Officers responded to the area just after 1 a.m. to reports of a shooting.
They arrived and found one person dead. They also reportedly detained a suspect.
No further details are available at this time as homicide detectives continue to investigate.
