Albuquerque police investigate stabbing as justifiable homicide
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Detectives are investigating a stabbing in northeast Albuquerque as a possible justifiable homicide.
Officers were called around 10:15 p.m. Thursday to a stabbing at a house near Constitution and San Pedro.
Police said they found 42-year-old Warith Morris with a stab wound to his chest. He died at the scene.
The preliminary investigation determined there was a domestic dispute at the home that escalated and resulted in the stabbing. Police said a person of interest was detained on scene, but later released after the initial investigation.
According to APD, there are currently no outstanding offenders.
