Rescue dog graduates from Assistance Dogs of the West

ESPAÑOLA, N.M. — New Mexico has a few new service dogs after they graduated Wednesday night from the Assistance Dogs of the West.

One dog in particular, Valkyrie, used to live at Española Humane. Valkyrie was the only rescue in a class full of labs. She will now be an official service dog for her adopted dad.
