ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — ‘Natural fireworks’ will light up the sky this Fourth of July as widespread rain showers and storms are likely throughout New Mexico.
Toward the west, some flash flood watches are in effect, west of Socorro and south of Grants as rain is likely. Rain and storms are likely throughout the state, from points south and west toward the northern mountains. Places in the southeast will see the heat while other places will see below average temperatures.
