Steve Stucker: NW rain, warmer temps elsewhere

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Rain is expected in the northwest part of New Mexico and in the north-central mountains Wednesday.
Temperatures will still be warm and conditions will be dry elsewhere in the state. We’ll see temperatures in the 80s mostly with some temperatures creeping into the 90s and some 70s where the rain will hit, especially in higher-elevation areas.
The recent rain has helped us get ahead on precipitation this year and temperatures are right around average. Here is the almanac for August 24:
