ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico has mostly clear skies Wednesday morning, with temperatures in the 50s, 60s and 70s.
A general warming trend will start today through the weekend, with temperatures a few degrees higher each afternoon. That will take New Mexico back to above average temps for the first time in a while.
The only areas with a moderate to good chance of storms Wednesday are the mountains in southern and northern New Mexico, along with the western mountains, and a slight chance in the Eastern Plains. Today will probably have the least storm activity of the next week.
Chances should increase a little Thursday, especially in the east, but generally it will be hot and dry.
