Tonia Michele: Scattered storms in New Mexico Tuesday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — In contrast to last week, northwestern New Mexico is staying warm and dry while other parts of the state are seeing rain.

Southeastern New Mexico is seeing a lot of rain today around Hobbs, Carlsbad and Roswell. Rain and storms are also around hanging around the Albuquerque metro and other parts. This trend should continue throughout the day as southeastern New Mexico will see most of the rain but some showers could pop up elsewhere.
