TAOS, N.M. — The trial for the five adults arrested at a compound in Taos County is set to begin this week.
Jury selection will begin in this case that grabbed national headlines in 2018. There were allegations of five Muslim extremists training their children to carry out school shootings.
For five years, the defendants have waited in jail to go on trial. The defendants are Siraj Wahhaj, his two sisters Hujrah and Subhannah, Lucas Morton and Jany Leveille.
