Woman arrested, charged for hotel homicide in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police arrested a woman overnight after a man was found dead in a motel room. Another suspect is still on the run.

Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, APD was called to the Days Inn on Central near I-25 after someone found the man’s body inside one of the rooms. 

Police say they tracked down Angel Salazar at another hotel less than a mile away, and she’s now booked and charged with murder.

Police say she was with another man. They approached the victim, who was sitting and smoking outside the motel room, and followed him inside the motel room. The male suspect can be seen putting brass knuckles on his left hand as he walked into the room.
