Cold fronts set to arrive midweek
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — We’ll see a few more days of above-average temperatures before a series of cold fronts cool temperatures down and bring some precipitation to northern New Mexico.
A couple of backdoor cold fronts will keep eastern New Mexico cooler before the rest of the state follows suit by the middle of the week.
Late Tuesday through Wednesday looks to be the wettest period, with some light snow accumulations for the northern mountains and light rain for surrounding areas stretching as far
south as I-40.
Another system at the end of the week looks to bring more widespread rain for west and central New Mexico, as well as some more snow for mountain areas.
Meteorologist Kira Miner shares all the details in her full forecast in the video above.
