APS board to vote on changes to graduation requirements
Among the proposed changes is requiring students to take a personal financial literacy course before graduating.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education is scheduled to vote on proposed changes to high school graduation requirements.
If approved Wednesday, students will have to complete a personal financial literacy course for a half a credit. They would also have to take 1.5 more credits in electives.
Sponsors of the proposal say it will help better prepare students for the future.
