We'll see record-low daily high temperatures in eastern New Mexico with warmer weather in central and western New Mexico.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Wind chills started cold Wednesday in some places in New Mexico due to an Arctic blast of air that is rolling off of the plains.
Clayton started with a wind chill of -14°. They weren’t the only ones at or below zero:
- Tucumcari: -9°
- Clovis: -5°
- Hobbs: 0°
- Grants: 1° (outside of the Arctic blast!)
- Roswell: 5°
High temperatures won’t warm up much in any of the places. Grants, on the other hand, will see 57° – the same as Albuquerque.
No matter what temperatures you like, you’ll probably find it Wednesday in New Mexico.
Meteorologist Alan Shoemaker shares all the details in his full forecast in the video above.
