BCSO investigates double homicide in Cedar Crest
Deputies found two people dead in a home over the weekend.
CEDAR CREST, N.M. — The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspected murder-suicide discovered Sunday morning in Cedar Crest.
When BCSO deputies did a welfare check at a home there around 5 a.m. Sunday, they found two people dead with signs of trauma. They identified them as 29-year-old Jesse Howser and 34-year-old Ashley Lopez.
According to BCSO, there is no threat to the community. There are no further details at this time.
