Hall of Famer Greg Maddux to appear at Isotopes Park with ‘Grassroots Baseball’ authors

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Remember putting your first ball glove on and pretending to be your favorite player as you played with your friends in the summertime? Now, you can combine those two this Wednesday at Isotopes Park.

Baseball Hall of Famer Greg Maddux will be throwing the first pitch ahead of the Isotopes’ Wednesday game against the Salt Lake Bees.

Before Maddux throws out the first pitch, the Isotopes will be giving fans the chance to meet and take a photo with him and get a photo book autographed by him and the book’s authors. You can purchase your ticket here for it.

Former Baseball Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson and photographer Jean Fruth joined Danielle Todesco to discuss the new photo book, ‘Grassroots Baseball,’ and Greg Maddux’s appearance Wednesday.
