Higher fire danger expected Friday in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — We’re expecting another warm and dry day that, along with some breezy conditions, will kick up the fire danger Friday in New Mexico.
A high wind warning is in effect for places like Las Vegas where winds could gust up to 50-60 mph. A red flag warning is also in effect there and in places like northeastern New Mexico and places like Gallup and Grants.
