Interstate 10 back open after being closed due to weather conditions

DEMING, N.M. — Interstate 10, between Deming and Las Cruces, is back open after severe winds and blowing dust closed the highway Monday.
In Deming, eastbound I-10 was closed at mile marker 80. Authorities diverted traffic into Deming where there were four shelter in place locations.
In Las Cruces, westbound I-10 was closed at mile marker 132, about three miles west of the city.
