Joann Fabrics to close 2 New Mexico locations
It's among hundreds of locations being closed across the U.S.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Fabrics and craft store Joann Fabrics is closing over 500 of its stores, including two here in New Mexico, after filing for bankruptcy.
Joann Fabrics filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Wednesday. The company operates 800 stores and will close 530 of them. Among them are the stores in Las Cruces and Santa Fe.
The stores in Albuquerque and Farmington will remain open.
