Overnight road closure set for SB I-25 near Santa Fe

SANTA FE, N.M. — Heads up if you travel on southbound I-25 near Santa Fe!

Southbound I-25 will be closed while work is performed on the underside of the Canyon Ranch Road Bridge.

This closure will take place each night from Monday, Sept. 26 through Thursday, Sept. 29, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. It was previously scheduled for Sept. 21 and 22.

Traffic will be diverted onto the eastbound frontage road at the La Cienega Interchange and can reenter southbound I-25 at the Waldo Canyon Interchange.

The closure is needed to ensure workers’ safety.

After the road reopens, the project will continue and be completed by Oct. 12.
