Pizza Hut deals with second fire in weeks
The restaurant is at Central and Wyoming. Not even a month before, there was a fire there.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Fire crews responded to the second fire in just weeks at a Pizza Hut restaurant in southeast Albuquerque.
Albuquerque Fire Rescue units responded Wednesday at around 3:47 a.m. to a possible fire at the Pizza Hut on Central and Wyoming. Crews arrived and found heavy smoke and flames from the roof the restaurant, which was temporarily closed.
Crews worked from the inside to bring the fire under control in about 20 minutes.
According to AFR, they contained the damage mostly contained to the fire location. They noticed smoke damage throughout the building and fire damage from the interior through the roof.
There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters. AFR is working to determine the cause of the fire.
