Shipley Do-Nuts set to expand to New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Texas-based Shipley Do-Nuts is set to expand into New Mexico with 10 new locations planned across the state.

The agreement with existing franchisee Vik Agrawal is set to bring 10 shops to Sandoval, Santa Fe, Bernalillo, Valencia, Torrance, Socorro, Lincoln, De Baca, Guadalupe and San Miguel counties in New Mexico, according to a news release issued Friday.

At least one shop is expected to open in the next 12 months in New Mexico. However, the company hasn’t announced where it will open.

The first Shipley Do-Nuts location will join the 370 existing locations spread across 13 other states.

Shipley was founded in 1936 in Houston, Texas. They offer more than 60 varieties of donuts they describe as “handmade fresh daily.”
