ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Conditions continue to be hot and dry with some rain chances possible as we close out the week.
The weather is going to heat up as, generally, throughout the state, temperatures will be 1-3 degrees warmer than they’ve been for much of this week. Some places in the east may see record highs, even.
Rain chances are likely in some limited areas, such as the northwestern part of the state and more mountainous areas, such as near Ruidoso and the northern mountains near Santa Fe, Raton and Taos.
