Steve Stucker: Scattered storms, heavy rain possible

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Scattered storms are likely throughout the state Tuesday and heavy rain may hit some spots.

Flood watches are posted in some of the burn scar areas and warnings may be issued if heavy rain progresses throughout the day.

Temperatures will stay warm Tuesday amid the rain, continuing the recent monsoon trend.
