ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Some storm chances are likely in the northern and eastern parts of the state Monday but any relief from our dry, warm and breezy weather is unlikely.
Storms will be dry in nature as they impact east of the central mountains and on the eastern edges of the state. Lightning, wind and hail are likely.
Other parts of the state will see warm conditions as 80s and 90s are likely statewide while some places, such as Roswell and Alamogordo, will see triple-digit temperatures continue.
Until the end of the week, when a cooldown is likely, fire danger will remain high but red flag warnings are posted only in the north-central and southeast New Mexico.
