All six lanes will be repaved and other improvements will be made, starting next week.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — All six lanes of Lomas Boulevard, from Juan Tabo Boulevard to Tomasita Street in Albuquerque, will be repaved and redone.
The City of Albuquerque confirmed crews will begin the project Jan. 20. Crews will repave all of the lanes and improve the curb and gutters along the road. The goal of this project is to improve road safety.
“We’ve heard from neighbors and commuters that this stretch of Lomas needs some attention, and now it’s getting the repaving it needs,” Mayor Tim Keller said. “This project will make the road smoother and safer for folks getting around town.”
The nearly mile-long project is expected to take about 90 days to complete, weather permitting, according to the city.
