Tonia Michele: Storms in the east, drier northwest

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Today, we welcome Tonia Michele to our weather team! She is looking at how some storms have pushed eastward after they were concentrated in the northern and western parts of New Mexico last week.

Places such as Tucumcari, Hobbs and Clovis will see storm chances Monday but anywhere east of I-25 will have some kind of chance of getting rain.

In contrast, the Four Corners area will be drier as places such as Farmington, Aztec and Durango will see very marginal rain chances throughout the week.
