HS FOOTBALL: St Pius X gets first win over Del Norte

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — This week’s Thursday night special had the Del Norte Knights taking on St. Pius X Sartans.
It was all Sartans with a highlight coming with Alejandro Sapien dropping back to pass on fourth down and hitting Ethan Valencia with a good lob while Valencia was in the endzone.
In the end, St. Pius X zoned into a 48-8 win.
